During the tasting class of vermouth at #PXWinesSpirits, we learned that it is a wine (red or white) that has been marinated in herbs such as wormwood and other substances served during the aperitif.
Whether tap or bottled, vermouth is synonymous with an appetizer; Our tasting of Vermouth was served with Bonito and sardines in olive oil and red peppers, Foie Gras and Piquillo peppers stuffed with mushrooms. This spirit is experiencing a renewed interest. The classics such as the Miró and La Copa Gónzalez Byass have added new labels with updated formulas and designs. (Niña del Moño) and other vermouths such as the Yzaguirre Reserva and the Ventura 27 are best enjoyed after dinner.
New ways, to get to know a refreshing and delicious drink. Classic combinations with gin – ⅓ part of gin and ⅔ parts of vermouth and the more modern version mixed with Whiskey; The Vermouth is enriched with new contributions to continue enjoying the classic aperitif for many more years to come.
